Jason's Wedding

I flew home to Chicago for Jason and Melissa's wedding on Saturday, May 28 2011. Here they are with Melissa's niece.

I think Sunny has a nicer smile than Glenn. Sorry Glenn.

I got to meet some of Jason's "back home" friends including Rishi, Jeff, and Danny. And yes, I know this is Jeff in the photo and not Danny. Right?

When I saw Mrs. Chang I asked her if they still had the remote controls in plastic on their coffee table from 11 years ago. She said, "yes, and it's Mr. Chang's fault."

We enjoyed Portillo's, Melissa in particular.

The flasks, with particular kinds of alcohol in each, were *enjoyed* by all.

"Can I have some?"

The bridesmaids were so beautiful I really wanted to be one of them so...

...I stole Melissa's cup and tried to blend in. It didn't work out so well.

I took this photo and suggested the pose. It came out pretty well if you ask me.

Delorian doors. Pretty cool.

Jason was nice enough to let the ushers ride in the limo on the way to the church - this was one of the cooler limos I've ever been in.

I also took this photo and suggested the "outward H" pose (copyright Jonathan Berger 2011).

"Don't worry Jason, your guests will be ushered to the highest standards."

"Uh oh... we better practice this." "Wait, I already have a program!"

Mrs. Chang straightens us out.

Jason's UIC friends (Danny, Jenny, and Yolanda) were remarkably friendly.

Here comes the bride...

...and here she comes again. Ceremony over! Success!

Given the rain the wedding party (and ushers) decided to get a little post-ceremony snack at good old McDonalds. You gotta eat McDonalds in style.

Back at the hotel Joyce catches her beauty sleep. Who, except some sort of princess, sleeps like that!?

More reception pictures are coming but here was one taken with an iPhone.

Only people at the head table received food. The rest of us got bread and water. (kidding)

Jason and Meslissa chose to have a "photo booth" style photographer on hand outside the ballroom. I think it was a good choice.

I took charge and planned the after party (with the help of Jung). Here is me admiring my hard work and being proud of the good time everyone is planning.

Given that I pulled off this successful after party planning I think I'm ready to plan a full wedding. It can't be that tough, right?

Glenn is talking to a marine. Really.

....and on Sunday I think just about everyone spent the afternoon in this position. A fun time had by all!
