We departed for Whistler, Canada on December 19th in a mini-van from Seattle
I prompty proceeded to fall asleep in the back seat.
After a quick stop in Vancouver for Chinese food (there's lots of Chinese people in Vancouver) we proceed onwards.
Woo hoo - it's snowing, which ofcourse requires some mini-snowball fights.
We tried the local specialty "poutine" - those cheese, gravy, fries you see in front of gansta-Tricia
Jessica's Joe hasn't arrived yet, so she snuggles up with Kodiak for warmth
I had to do something to spice up this picture.
Joe arrives in the middle of the night before we ski and helps Jessica with her board the next morning.
We are ready for the slopes!
I, however, proceed to fall asleep as usual.
This is the base at Whistler. The other base town in the area is Blackcomb.
In the village at the end of the first day.
Back in the cabin we played a great Xbox 360 game called Scene It
We were really into the game.
Kodiak usually won.
Yes - Whistler is in Canada, eh.
At night on day #3 we went to the Brewhouse in town. I got the strongest beer on the menu, which always seems to come in a wine-like glass.
Luckily Joe didn't see my wandering eyes in this picture.
Kodiak got the strong beer too and is enjoying his new found fashion sense.
Someone at our table thought this girl was kind of hot, so we surreptitiously snapped her photo.
...like we need more cows around our place... JUNK
My day #4, our advances towards the women in our group became more lazy and sloppy. Kodiak here really is not putting in much effort.
Scene It, the movie trivia video game again. Tricia: Wow, modern technology is amzagin. Kodiak: I think I can win this. Ow: I am so happy that I'm winning. Joe: I knew I won 10 minutes ago. Me: If I think hard enough I can win.
Ow wears his hat, even indoors.
Our last night we ate at an Italian place and decided to hit the clubs afterwards.
Another stop for Chinese (dim sum) in Vancouver on the way back to the border. I again, had to do something to spice up this photo.
Yep - that's me at the wheel, again, sleeping actually, while we wait for dutiful customs officers. Woo hoo for government efficiency! It was overall a great trip!
